Donald Trump Blasts Israel and Iran Over Ceasefire Collapse, Uses Profanity in Outburst

President Pledges to 'See If I Can Stop It' as Missile Strikes Persist Despite Ceasefire

Trump Slams Israel and Iran Over Ceasefire Violations: “They Don’t Know What They’re Doing.”

President Donald Trump voiced sharp frustration with both Israel and Iran on Tuesday, criticizing their actions in the wake of a newly declared ceasefire and suggesting neither side is acting rationally.

Speaking to reporters before leaving the White House for a NATO summit, Trump reacted to reports of fresh missile exchanges between the two countries, despite a ceasefire that took effect Monday night.

“I’m not happy with Israel,” Trump said. “You know, when I say, okay, now you have 12 hours, you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them. So I’m not happy with them. I’m not happy with Iran either, but I’m really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning.”

Frustrated by the continued escalation, Trump added, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.”

He concluded with a vow to intervene diplomatically: “I’m going to see if I can stop it.” Trump Urges Israel to Stand Down, Declares Ceasefire Holding Amid Tensions with Iran

Shortly after boarding Marine One on Tuesday morning, former President Donald Trump issued an urgent message to Israel via Truth Social:

“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

Minutes later, Trump announced that Israel had decided to cancel its planned airstrikes on Iran.

“ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt; the ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

He followed with a more defiant post:
“IRAN WILL NEVER REBUILD ITS NUCLEAR FACILITIES!”

The ceasefire, which Trump brokered and announced Monday night, capped what he called a “12-day war” between Israel and Iran. The deal was reportedly secured with the help of Qatar’s prime minister after Iran launched limited missile strikes on the U.S. Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

However, tensions remain high. A senior Israeli official told Fox News that Iran had fired two missiles toward Israel after the ceasefire was declared, with more attacks possibly imminent.

“Unfortunately, the Iranians have decided to continue to fire toward Israel,” the official said in an interview with Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst. “Now we will have to retaliate. This will happen, of course. It could end within several hours, but they [the Iranians] need to make a decision.”

As of now, Israeli officials have not formally confirmed whether the retaliatory strike has been canceled.
